Other than the painfully early start (4:20 a.m.), things are going remarkably well here in Chicago. The mood is relaxed and laid back, yet the jobs are getting done – and done early at that. I expected exhaustion today, but instead walked into a room filled with energy. That’s great news because it allows me to watch and monitor the team’s progress, and focus on fun.
Remember that roller coaster that we’ve talked about the last two days? Well, that baby is pulling in. And when it comes in, I guarantee that the entire team will line up to take the ride all over again.
Before we close today, I’d like to mention Amy Seabolt, one of our team members who was unable to make it to the Show. She worked really hard on the color concepts and I wish she could have been here to see the overwhelmingly positive response from the audience. The team missed her. And I missed her.
Tonight we celebrate. We don’t do a lot of shows, and this is a big one. In fact, this is like our Superbowl. And we’re coming out winners.
Tomorrow I’m going to give you a retrospective on the entire Show experience…quick snippets of memorable moments and observations. Be sure to check it out.
