WOW. Let me say that again. Wow.
Today I had the opportunity to watch my team win. And win they did. Each and every member succeeded. To watch them soar is the best feeling.
Remember how we talked last night about the ripple effect? The ripple turns into a wave and we’re faced with two choices. We can either crash into the beach or ride to the top. No question about it, our team rose to the top.
What we identified last night as successes became our expectations today. Those “do it betters” from last night? The team went after it and raised the bar. They didn’t worry about whether or not people liked the show – they concentrated on having fun and that spilled offstage. And the audience? Packed! And responsive, even coming onstage to take a closer look. We really connected with them.
So many people train, dream, wish and pray for the opportunity to do this, but for one reason or other never get the shot. I want to acknowledge Myron, who works in our Hobart, Indiana salon. Myron came from Indiana to help us out with the show and to gain experience. He dreams of becoming part of the Show Team so he can share his knowledge with others. And that’s inspiring.
Yesterday we talked about this being like a roller coaster. Yesterday was the climb. Today, the ride. And tomorrow is going to feel even better.
Our theme song today was Lionel Richie’s “Easy Like Sunday Morning.” And you know, it really was appropriate.
