Something really exciting happened today...Jackie Koma is officially a Redken Artist. It's a big honor and a big responsibility, and I know she's up for the job. Congratulations, Jackie!
We got off to a great start this morning at our set-up and prep meeting. I gave the team iPod shuffles and Merrill brushes to thank them for their hard work. We spent most of the morning setting up for tonight's Model Call and mapping out Friday's Model Prep flow. It's an unbelievably long process, and you really need to concentrate on keeping it real. (Last night I told you that's one of my main message point for the Show, and it's helping to keep us focused.) Things got a little hot this morning over the Show choreography, but we got down to business and made things happen.
After tonight's Model Call, we'll sit down with our staging team -- Lolly and Leon -- to go through each segment of the Show. We'll show them the Polaroids of each model and match them up with the script. Then Lolly and Leon stage it out. It should be a pretty late night, but the energy level is still high.
Tomorrow morning we crack at it early. Let's go get 'em.
