Welcome to our first online
diary from Chicago's Midwest Beauty Show. The Show is one of the biggest in
the industry, and we've been preparing for it since October. This diary is
a way for me to give those of you who cannot attend a snapshot of the event
and what Hair Cuttery is doing there.
I'm in Chicago today for a training session, and in constant communication
with the Artistic Team. They're flying out to Chicago tomorrow, but there's
a lot of last-minute work to get done. Let me introduce you virtually to the
Artistic Team; you'll be seeing these names quite a bit over the next few

It's an exciting week for us, and tomorrow we get to see it begin to come
together. Until the Show Team arrives in Chicago, they've only "seen"
their segments on paper -- there hasn't been a run-through nor have the models
