beach-babe look… hair and accessories that reflect summer's
lazy, hazy, slightly crazy attitude.

“Hair will look less controlled.
Instead, you’ll see lots of rhythmic layers with a definite
60s influence,” says International Artistic Leader Shannon
King. “The trend is toward intentionally disheveled or ‘not-trying-too-hard’
hair. It's a messy look that oozes sex appeal. Wavy, textured
hair like Alicia Silverstone illustrates this tousled feminine
look.”
Shannon goes on to say that the hot colors
this summer for blondes will be pink and mauve. "A washed-out
strawberry blonde like Kylie Minogue is a great example of this
trend." For Brunettes, look for violet and smoky green tones,
similar to Angelina Jolie's hair.
Another one of this season’s
hottest trends is the “un-do” - an updo that’s
purposely loose and looks like it’s about to tumble down.

stylish dishevelment, simply pin up random sections of hair with
bobby pins and then let the rest hang loose for a sexy tousled
look.” This was a look worn by Nicole Kidman at this year’s
Oscars.
