At Hair Cuttery, we believe that our salon professionals should be empowered to support their communities and their colleagues on a personal level.

  • Through salon Cut-a-Thons, our salon professionals can raise funds for a guest or neighbor who has experienced illness, loss or family tragedy. All proceeds are donated to the person or cause being supported.
  • Through Hair Cuttery’s School Donation Program, 20% of sales on a specified day(s) is donated to a local school.
  • Hair Cuttery’s connection to the local community is demonstrated through sponsorships of youth groups, Little League teams, Boys and Girls Clubs and children’s theaters.

Dennis and Ann Ratner

The Ratner family makes meaningful contributions to a wide range of charities that provide funding and assistance to wounded warriors, the arts, education and at-risk youth. They are committed to supporting causes that are of importance to our associates.

Through the Ratner family, funding is provided to non-profit organizations such as: The Gary Sinise Foundation, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The American Red Cross, Camps for Kids, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Junior Achievement.

Our support of national and regional organizations demonstrates our desire to connect with all our communities in a tangible way.

Hair Cuttery has roots in a number of regions on the East Coast and in the Midwest. As part of those many communities, we support causes and organizations that align with our company values. We sponsor regional events, such as: Girls on the Run in Hagerstown, Maryland and South Hampton Roads, Virginia; The Neptune Festival in Virginia; Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society in Florida, Maryland and Northern Virginia; Krausey’s Koats in Greater Philadelphia and Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.
